We are Meloda.

Meloda is a curated, blockchain-based music licensing platform which connects small brands and microinfluencers with musical artists. We facilitate better licensing opportunities for artists and more authentic music for creators so we can build a ground swell together.

The music licensing process is messy and difficult, so much so that small to medium market artists often do not participate in music licensing altogether. Small to medium market content creators also suffer in that their access to licensable music is limited, given existing solutions to this problem are either aggregating generic, mass-produced (and thus inauthentic) music or cumbersome and thus tailored to high-earning clients. Content creators and artists are both creators—there should be a way to put them on the same page, and Meloda is working to do just that.

With our easy-to-use platform, listing, licensing, and tracking songs is as easy as a couple of clicks. Content creators can find and license authentic tracks for their projects either free or for fees based on the size of their following, and when they’re ready to post, the license is searchable on and verified by the blockchain, preventing flags and confusion about the instance of copyright use.
